Group 3: Tell me about Alice -Alice and Shirley use different ways. Alice is an expert in using Textual Sources, and Shirley is not the brightest color in the box of crayons. - Advice Alice gave Shirley Alice tells Shirley to select and evaluate the material and use it as proof. Alice asked if she wanted to invent an original problem for her paper. "Alice's representation of the task would have required Shirley to formally select and evaluate her material and to use it as proof in an original argument. Alice was suggesting that Shirley invent an original problem and purpose for her paper and create an original structure for her argument. Alice's task is much more sophisticated than Shirley's" (Kantz, 1990, pg. 76).
Group 2 Justin, Jorge, Israel, Casey the task of writing a research paper has many difficulties. the biggest problem is citing which most people struggle on. its easier to quote a sentence than to paraphrase a paragraph,also it is usually easier to write a paper with one choice topic than it is to write with many topic choices. her source articles in order from those whose approach she most approved to those she least approved, without comment or with random comment, into a description of what one found than it is to use them as evidence in an original argument.
