First draft is to figure out what you want to say and second draft is to find your argument or various sub-arguments. Their essays or drafts are not determined by time. the revision strategies are more then a process of communication, they are the process of discovering meaning altogether. Student writers do the opposite, they need to relay on their own sense of good writing. They struggle to bring their essays into congruence with a predefined meaning.
Julissa, Justin, Donovan, Carmen - Student Writers: It's basically telling us how and what strategies student writers use when they revise. - Never begin a sentence with a conjunction - Never end a sentence with a proposition - Not comfortable with the word revision - Use term " Redoing" - Redoing is using better words and erasing useless stuff
Revision Strategies of Experienced writers maricarmen, jorge, yasmin, and alfredo *Experience writers write their ideas over and over again to make their point more understandable. *They also use strategies to communicate to their reader. *"the experience writes the heaviest concentration of changes is on the sentence level...unlike the student, experience writes make changes on all levels and use all revision operation."
Group 2 Methodolgy: some investigators did a study on experience writers and students writers to see what were they stand in writing and both the experience writers and student writer have both the same problems.
Intro: Researcher for her studies of the process of revising, she is writing a researcher monograph on revision. . There are five parts of a discourse invention,disposition, evocation,memoria,pronunciation all of those are based on these studies of the process. . Process was redefined as a sequence of changes in a composition -n changes which are initiated by cues and occur continually throughout the writing of a work.
